and for a coincidence, some friends just got back today from Okinawa and brought us some weird flavor kit kat candy bars, including green tea.
I was a little entertained when they used the mashed potatoes as glue, lol.

(56,174 posts)Japanese convenience/dollar stores have started showing up in the Phx area. so fun! I try to go to the Daiso store when ever I am up there. I don't think there are any in Tucson yet.

As far as the OP goes, that's the kind of stuff the RG and his son or the RG and his business associates travel around the world for. I have pictures--so many pictures of the most outlandish things they order at the types of restaurants that do this sort of thing. Edible gold and silver, for example.
If you say don't you think that's a little extravagant they will come back with "well it's less than saffron!"
