AHA!!! HOMEMADE BAILEYS IRISH CREAM

Homemade Baileys Irish Cream is a luscious, creamy liqueur that’s surprisingly easy to make and perfect for sipping, mixing into cocktails, or drizzling over desserts. This DIY version combines smooth whiskey with rich cream, sweetened condensed milk, and a touch of chocolate and coffee for a decadent flavor profile that rivals the store-bought variety. Customizable to your taste preferences, this homemade treat is ideal for gifting during the holidays or enjoying as a cozy indulgence year-round. Best of all, it comes together in just a few minutes, making it a simple yet luxurious addition to your recipe repertoire.

1 cup heavy cream
1 cup sweetened condensed milk
1 1/3 cups Irish whiskey (such as Jameson)
2 tbsp chocolate syrup or cocoa powder
1 tsp instant coffee granules or espresso powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
Optional: a pinch of almond extract for added depth

Chill and Store: Refrigerate the bottles for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld. Shake
well before each use. The homemade Baileys will keep in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
Serve and Enjoy: Serve chilled over ice, in coffee, or use as a base for cocktails and desserts.
