WooHoo! I made some great Honey Whole Wheat bread today.

All roads were closed due to snow so decided to give bread making one more try. My first attempt would have made a great door stop. My second attempt tasted ok but was very heavy and badly formed. Today’s came out great. Think I’ve found a new winter hobby.

for a baby's bottle --- )Next loaf, if you have any leftover oatmeal (cooked, obviously), throw it into the batter at the beginning, to start with try 1/2 cup or 3/4 cup cooked oatmeal (same or lesser temp as the starter temp.) Then add the flour (you'll find you need *slightly* less now --- just wing it) You'll end up with a loaf with a lovely "chew. Bon appetit!
