What's for Dinner, Mon., July 1, 2024

Cold seafood plate: poached salmon and shrimp. I poached the salmon in a broth with tangerine, lemon, basil and mint.

The shrimp will be an appetizer and served with cocktail sauce.

Later I'll have the salmon with cold pasta and Alfredo sauce. Lotsa' freshly ground black pepper.

Dessert: cold Earl Grey with a few of those Aussie chocolate cookies from TJ's.

1. Leftover broccoli casserole

Frozen banana for dessert. Not the most exciting, but it works.

2. Leftover chicken pot pie and a toss salad.

Ice cream drumstick before bedtime.

3. Crab 🦀 Louie salad with crackers

A glass of lemonade, it is summertime after all. A snickerdoodle cookie for dessert.

4. Grilled Cheddar Cheese with Beefsteak Tomato on Whole Wheat.

5. Pulled pork tacos

It's too hot to do much cooking, so we defrosted some pulled pork and will have it with onions and pickled jalapenos. Maybe tapioca for afters
