beignet and the text:
Love is like a beignet. It looks so sweet and simple and enticing. But then you begin to eat it and things get out control and messy and people are looking at you and giggling.

But you don't care 'cause it's the best thing ever.

(12,538 posts)That smell as you're walking toward the cafe and then that plate of pillowy beignets smothered in powdered sugar—it’s a good thing there are no beignets where I live because they’re just too hard to resist. I know there are beignet mixes, but I’m pretending that those would not be as good as the ones made in the Cafe.

(41,993 posts)Like going back in time. Open 24 hours. An awesome experience any time of day. Stopped by there about 1 AM after an Outdoor Jimmy Buffet concert at least 15 years ago. Damn I miss the Big Easy. I’m pretty sure I couldn’t steam like I did back in the day.
My wife gets PJs Coffee in the mail. She likes the iced king.
Yes! I know what it means to miss New Orleans.
