The US loses a lot and gains nothing.
China stands to gain a great deal; more that anyother country.
Russia not so much. Russia does not have a lot of means to gain.

A greatly weakened Europe who has no help from the US is Putin's dream.
Reduced sanctions and Ukraine handed over to him.
China and Russia are strong allies.
Any help to one is help to the other.
