in recent months. My opinion of Erdogan's diplomatic skills has risen sharply. Made peace with the PKK ending a 40 year struggle, now as more influence in Syria than Iran and Russia combined and now a key figure in the future of Ukraine. Erdogan is a bastard, but he's a very smart and competent bastard and he is supported by a solid majority of Turks.
