Venezuela Oil Disaster - Joe Blogs
In this video I provide an update on the situation in Venezuela. In October 2023 the USA LIFTED SANCTIONS for a 6 month period in exchange for Venezuela agreeing to a Fair & Equal Presidential Election in 2024. The outcome of the election was not considered to be either fair or equal and the USA has re-instated the sanctions against Venezuela and Donald Trump recently revoked the license granted to Chevron to drill oil and export it to the USA. In addition he has also changed the rules around Venezuelan migrants in the USA which means that over 500,000 are now potentially facing deportation. Venezuela's neighbour Guyana is forecast to overtake Venezuela in terms of oil production and President Maduro is now making moves to take back control of the area which recently resulted in a warning from the USA.
