MOSCOW (Reuters) - The Kremlin said on Thursday that U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio's view that the Ukraine conflict is a proxy war between the United States and Russia is in line with Russian President Vladimir Putin's own assessment.

"It's been very clear from the beginning that (U.S. President Donald Trump) views this as a protracted, stalemated conflict," Rubio told Fox News in an interview on Wednesday.

"And frankly, it's a proxy war between nuclear powers – the United States, helping Ukraine, and Russia – and it needs to come to an end."

leave Ukraine... today. No more war. We will pay to rebuild Ukraine. Then Ukraine will join NATO ( clearly they have the most experienced army in NATO ). We will continue the sanctions until Russia ends its imperial desire to re-create the USSR AND when it turns into a democracy with fair and free elections. If Russia wants to form it's own BRICs economic bloc of trading partners. fine. Wants to not trade with US dollars... fine. Make your own deals... oppose the west economically, fine. Have fun.

Then we may help ( for a profit to us ) Ukraine develop their mineral and energy base ( although I would caution Ukraine that most countries that depend primarily on extractive industries eventually regret the decision - looking at you Venezuela ).

Easy. just leave Ukraine... all of it.
