Russian Ruble is Dead - Joe Blogs
In this video I discuss the recent movements in the value of the Russian Ruble which has strengthened significantly since the end of 2024. The Financial Sanctions applied against Russia since the invasion of Ukraine started have significantly reduced both the number and the value of transactions in Russian Rubles and this has made it easier for the Russian Central Bank to manipulate the value of the Ruble. As a result the value of the Ruble is no longer directly linked to what is happening in the Russian Economy.
