Russia Out of Gas - Parallel History Fundraiser - Econ Lessons
This is a parallel history analysis 1945 and 2025 of two despotic countries who in the field suffer shortages of refined fuel creating logistical issues to supply, that dampened their geopolitical goals. Russian refined fuel shortage is having and impact on the margin of Russian logistical and ability to fuel their geopolitical ambitions in Ukraine similar to the events around the battle of the Bulge. In other words the way the events of 2024 and 2025 are unfolding for Russia to some extent parallels Germany in 1944 and 1945. This video looks at these historical parallels and what this might mean for the future of Russia and some in Russia's motivation for negotiations.
