Quote for the Day:
The continuing benefits of expatriation keep a cottage industry of entrepreneurs in business, offering advice to wealthy Americans interested in moving offshore. A search of the Internet will take the curious to Web sites selling books, magazines, and investment options for expatriates. One page claims to be "the Web site for anyone moving to another country," and targets clients including "escaping Americans, expatriates," and even "tax exiles." Another advertises a book that will help "free yourself from tax slavery forever," and at a bargain price of only $100.

but I have one good hedge on and just have to wait out the rest. Not even avoiding a shutdown rallied the mood. Things that were supposed to bounce after the end of the 3rd quarter didn't bounce.
