(6,389 posts)Most of the stations in Chapel Hill itself have been very slow at dropping prices the last few weeks. Probably trying to gouge all the new students and parents coming into town. A few miles away and you find $3.40-3.50. $3.20 nearer the coast.

(10,623 posts)The lowest was $3.29. The highest was $3.49. The majority of the stations we passed were at $3.47.

California is still getting clobbered with a lot of places near $5.00/gallon.
