If you're gonna steal stuff don't post photos/videos/etc...

One Edward Adams of Dubuque found out the hard way that if you're gonna steal stuff it's not really a good idea to post photos/videos/etc of yourself holding the stolen item on the Internetz;

Authorities say a video that a Dubuque man posted on a popular social media app showing him holding a stolen gun led to state and federal charges.

According to state court documents, Dahson A. Rhone, 23, of 2163 Washington St., told police that on April 10 he saw Adams holding Rhone's stolen gun in a video on the social media app Snapchat. Rhone had reported the gun missing following a February burglary.

Police located Adams about an hour later at Club 23, 1902 Central Ave., court documents said. Adams was wearing the same clothes as seen in the Snapchat video.

Adams was patted for weapons and had the stolen gun in his waistband, according to court documents.
