Android phone help please !

I used to be able to play pic on pic YouTube videos on DU.
I would start the video, maximize it, then touch the round button at the bottom of the my phone screen and it would continue to play as a picture on picture. I could scroll other apps at the same time and listen to the video.
As of last week, it stopped working. Now it shuts off the video when I go through the same process. Anybody have any clue why or what I can do to get it back? As per chat gpt, I've checked the picture on picture selections in my settings and they're all on.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you

1. The first thing I do when I have issues is to power the phone down

and reboot.

After checking the two pictures on picture on buttons

3. My Android phone did an update on the OS last week,,,,

...and that caused me several prroblems that I had to make adjustments for in the next 3-4 days. Did this happen to you? It might've caused your issue as well. I may not be able to tell you how to fix, but perhaps it will get you looking in the right places for an answer.
