Holiday deals ahead in tech, plan your plan so you are not ham-handed

I was in ZZZZ Walmart yesterday ( I call it ZZZZ after ... ZZZZ Best, but that's just an inside joke) and an actual salesperson, ok he was a Walmart employee, about 20 years old, practicing his customer service skills, approached to ask which computers I was interested in. He allowed there would be great deals on Chromebooks come the holidays, as well as discounts on everything else. Sounds like a flooded market to me esp. since they're plying the public with employee time NOW.

So good deals ahead. I plan for something simple and dedicated to writing, word-processing, and thinking for just about what I'd pay on eBay used today, I'll score something new in the holiday rush and liquidation. This may even be a year when the tech glut catches up and further discounts are seen in the New Year.

Make a plan?

For writing, it's still a beast, and Google doesn't scan my documents and photos, as my data stays at home unless I send it out.
