Looking for advice on which Dell laptop computer to get

Our current laptop we've had for 12 years now and it's still going but my wife and I are thinking of getting a new laptop because we think it may be getting near the end . The battery stopped holding a charge years ago and to use it, it has to be plugged in.

My wife really wants to stick with a Dell and I'm wondering which one would be serve our needs. I'd like it to be light, the one we have is a clunker, but I do like the bigger screen. We are not gamers, don't watch movies on it and don't do anything fancy with the laptop. E-mails, browsing the internet, finding and printing out recipes is about it so I don't think it'd need a great deal of processing power or memory.

Any advice would be welcome.

4. I am also a fan of Dell refurbished computers.

I have purchased several over the years at the website mentioned above. They are new computers that were returned for some reason, fixed, tested and made available again at a discount.

3. I've Had Great Experiences with Dell Latitude Models for Work and Personal Computers

If you do a lot of typing nothing beats the soft touch of the Dell keyboards. That's an added benefit for me. Over 30 years I have also owned HP and Lenova. They don't come close in my opinion to the Dells I've owned. All 3 granddaughters have used Macs since they started college and don't understand why I won't make the switch.

5. ill never , ever buy dell again. had 1 with 4 hard drive failures and staples and dell

wouldnt fix it . its under the table that i have my mac on. also i have a frind in i.t who hates them as well.my u have better success w ur dell.
