Has anyone here used the Ultimate Boot CD for Windows? (problems with fltmgr.sys)
http://www.ubcd4win.org/I followed all the instructions to make the .iso file but keep getting an error message that the file fltmgr.sys is corrupt. I tried getting another copy from an install on another computer (it's in the Service Pack folder) and that created the .iso OK, but when I tried to boot from the CD it got partway through the boot before a message that fltmgr.sys was corrupt appeared. If I could find my other WinXP install CD maybe that would fix it. I've found some dl sites for that file but MalWareBytes quarantined the files, so not worth the risk.
Any ideas ? (Yeah, I know, it's ancient software, but it's what I need for one specific job.

OP
Don't think that's possible -- the app that creates the .iso runs in Win XP.

It's not just a collection of files that you funnel into an .iso, there's an "app builder" file which checks for completeness and corruption.
