White Americans make the largest voting block in the US. 85% of white evangelicals approve of Trump. This makes up about 29% of his base (down from about 50% in 2016 and 2020) and although they represent only about 15% of the US population they tend to have a very high and reliable turnout rate.

The key to Democrat victory is turnout. That is the reason that you see the GOP put so much effort in suppressing the vote. In most cases if the turnout rate is high the Dems win.

UNITY in the Democratic Party is essential. We cannot continue to divide based on progressive/moderate ideology. Stick together, and you might not get everything you want, but you will get far more than if you lose.
