Seven polling places set for April 1 election

BELOIT — There will be seven polling locations in the City of Beloit for the April 1 general election.

Polling locations in Beloit will be as follows:

Wards 1 — 4, 24, 25 and 31 — Sun Valley Presbyterian Church, 1650 Sun Valley Drive.
Wards 5 — 8 and 26 — Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 749 Bluff St.
Wards 9 — 11 — Krueger-Haskell Golf course, 1611 Hackett St.
Ward 12 — First Congregational Church, 801 Bushnell St.
Wards 13 — 17 — Beloit Public Library, 605 Eclipse Blvd.
Wards 18 — 20 and 27 — River of Life United Methodist Church, 2345 Prairie Ave.
Wards 21 — 23 and 28 — 30 — Central Christian Church, 2460 Milwaukee Road.
The deadline to file voter registration paperwork by mail or online was Wednesday, March 12.

The deadline to file voter registration paperwork at City Hall is 5 p.m. Friday, March 28. Voters can still register at their polling location on Election Day.
