VILLAGE OF BELMONT, Wis (WKOW) -- In a town with just over 1,000 residents, hundreds of people packed the Village of Belmont's Community Building Saturday for a town hall meeting hosted by 2nd District Congressman, Mark Pocan (D) Saturday.

The building was filled to capacity with people even waiting outside and peeking through the windows to hear Rep. Pocan address what's going on in Washington D.C.

Pocan updated concerned citizens about changes in the current government, while also calling out 3rd District Congressman Derrick Van Orden (R) for not updating the public about what is happening at the U.S. Capitol. .........................


Several people attending the meeting had the opportunity to voice their fears about the current Presidential administration's new policies, especially on the proposed Federal Tax Cut which Pocan says could affect millions of Americans who rely on Medicaid. .....................................
