Musk group canvassing for Schimel (R) in Supreme Court race
A group tied to Elon Musk and another linked to the state’s largest business group are up with new TV ads knocking Supreme Court candidate Susan Crawford for sentences she’s handed out as a Dane County judge.
Meanwhile, Musk’s America PAC has launched a $1 million canvassing effort backing Brad Schimel, and Crawford has launched a new spot of her own.
The WMC Issues Mobilization Council has $2.9 million in reservations on broadcast and cable TV through March 19, according to AdImpact. Meanwhile, the Musk-aligned Building America’s Future has $1.6 million in reservations on broadcast and cable TV through March 5.
According to AdImpact, Schimel and those backing him had an advantage of more than $7 million in future reservations as of Thursday morning. There was $7.7 million reserved to back the Waukesha County Circuit Court judge to $572,000 boosting Crawford.
