Wisconsin Supreme Court candidates to debate on WISN 12 ahead of April 1 election
MILWAUKEE Ahead of the consequential April 1 Wisconsin Supreme Court election, the two candidates in the high-profile race will debate live on WISN 12 during a statewide primetime debate on March 12.
Dane County Circuit Court Judge Susan Crawford (D) and Waukesha County Circuit Court Judge Brad Schimel (R) will face off in the hour-long debate before a live, invite-only audience at the Lubar Center at Marquette University Law School's Eckstein Hall.
"The cases facing the court will have a tangible impact throughout Wisconsin," Shawn Oswald, president and general manager of WISN 12, said. "We're providing viewers with the opportunity to get clear answers to pointed questions."
The WISN 12 Commitment 2025 Wisconsin Supreme Court Debate will be moderated by WISN 12 journalists Matt Smith and Gerron Jordan, both co-hosts of WISN's award-winning statewide public affairs show "UPFRONT." Smith is also the station's political director and executive producer of "UPFRONT."
