Major traffic alert: I-5 north fully closed near Arlington for brush fires
I-5 north near Arlington is fully closed due to at least three brush fires, the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) reported Monday around 2 p.m.
The freeway is closed at State Route 531 near milepost 206. WSDOT has reported backups spanning more than a mile into Marysville.
“Use extreme caution and expect delays in this area,” WSDOT wrote.
