Budget airline to launch service from Everett's Paine Field

Frontier Airlines will join Alaska Airlines at Seattle Paine Field International Airport in Everett, becoming the second airline to offer service from the regional airport.

Beginning June 2, the budget airline will offer flights three times a week to Las Vegas, Denver and Phoenix. The new routes were announced at Paine Field Tuesday morning.

Tickets will start at $29 one way, and booking is already available.

The new service will give travelers more options when searching for flights, said Brett Smith, CEO of Propeller Airports, which operates the terminal in a public-private partnership with Snohomish County.
