Booberry Matcha safe and home again in Lynnwood PetSmart
LYNNWOOD Police have found Booberry Matcha, thanks to help from the public, after somebody allegedly stole him from a Lynnwood PetSmart on Tuesday.
Booberry Matcha is now safe in his adoption room with his littermates.
Whiskers In Need operates the adoption room in the PetSmart on Highway 99. According to the organizations press release, two young men approached the adoption room between 7-8 p.m. to meet with the rooms five kittens. The men appeared to be in their late teens or early 20s, the nonprofit said. Shortly after, a third man arrived, who appeared to be older than the other two.
When the volunteer turned away to grab an adoption form, the three men left. When the volunteer came back, she noticed Booberry Matcha was missing. Whiskers In Need suspects the third man put Booberry Matcha in his black puffer jacket when he left.

LYNNWOOD Somebody allegedly stole Booberry Matcha from a Lynnwood PetSmart on Tuesday, and a local cat adoption nonprofit is asking for help in finding the 11-week-old kitten.

Booberry Matcha is an 11-week-old domestic medium shorthair. His coat is a distinct, rich shade of grey, according to the release. This is the first time someone has stolen a cat from this adoption room, said Whiskers In Need spokesperson Sue Masser on Tuesday. Booberry Matcha is due for vaccines soon, Masser said, and he could face stomach issues if hes not fed properly.

but this has me really concerned for his safety. Two young men in the adoption room? I hate to rag on the guys, but this doesn't bode well to me. If anyone hears how this turns out, I wish you'd keep us updated...
