Harrisonburg registrar announces change for election polling location

HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) - Harrisonburg voters assigned to the polling location at Spotswood Elementary School can expect some changes when they go to cast their ballot June 17 in the Democratic Primary Election.

Rather than the usual cafeteria entrance, voters will enter the building through door 12 in the Garden Atrium off Carlton Street, according to a release from the City of Harrisonburg Voter Registrar’s Office. The change is only in effect June 17 while there is a “temporary facility adjustment,” the release said.

Signage will be posted around the school to direct voters to the right place to enter and park.

Head to door 12 at the Garden Atrium entrance, located off Carlton Street.
