Texas voter registration deadline for May local elections this week
Another election cycle in Texas is on the horizon, this time focused entirely on local-level races in cities and school districts across the state.
At the end of April and on May 2, Texans will be able to vote in local government, school board elections and propositions, also known as the May Uniform Election.
However, the deadline to register to vote in these local elections is on Thursday, April 2 — 30 days before Election Day.
