District 3 incumbent Jack Ladd Jr. announces re-election bid
MIDLAND, Texas (KMID/KPEJ) Midland City Councilman Jack Ladd Jr. has filed to run for the District 3 seat on the city council. District 3 encompasses central Midland, where Ladd Jr. has been its representative for the last two terms.
Ladd Jr. is the first to file for the opening on the November 4th ballot. Jack Ladd Jr. has filed to run for the District 3 seat on the Midland City Council.
Jack is an Eagle Scout, a graduate of Midland High School, the University of Texas at Austin, and Texas Tech University, where he earned an MBA and JD simultaneously. Jack has also run successful Republican campaigns for the US House of Representatives and the Texas House. He is a practicing attorney and former legislative staffer for US Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison and State Representative Tryon Lewis. He is married to his wife, Elana Ladd, and father to their daughter Penelope Ladd. Jack is licensed to practice in both Texas and New Mexico.
Three races will be featured on the upcoming November ballot, which is for mayor as well as city council openings for Districts 3 and 4.
