Bexar County election officials give runoff election updates
SAN ANTONIO – The Bexar County Elections Department held a runoff election press conference on Saturday.
After outlasting 25 other candidates, San Antonio residents will choose between Rolando Pablos and Gina Ortiz Jones for mayor and vote for districts 1, 6, 8 and 9 in the June 7 runoff election.
exar County Election Administrator Michele Carew gave updates at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Bexar County Elections Office.
Carew said 4,133 voters have cast a ballot as of 9 a.m. on June 7. With a 12.1% turnout for early voting, she said the city has already surpassed turnout for the May 3 election.
