Brooklyn Democratic Party chair talks about Democratic mayoral nominee
Democratic mayoral nominee Zohran Mamdani has been building support since his victory became apparent on primary night last week.
After the official ranked-choice voting results were released, he gained support from state Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins.
Mamdani has also secured endorsements from influential unions like 32 BJ and the Hotel & Gaming Trades Council — even after those labor groups backed former Gov. Andrew Cuomo in the primary.
