Erica Snyder, a Close Finisher in Princeton's 2024 Board of Ed Election, Runs Again in 2025
Princeton, NJ A resident has announced her candidacy for the Princeton Public Schools Board of Education. Erica Snyder, who placed fourth in a six-person field in last year's election for three open seats, issued a press release on Friday, June 20.
Three seats on the board are up for election in the November 4 election. They are currently held by Dafna Kendal, board president; Susan Kanter, vice president; and Debbie Bronfeld. The deadline for candidates to file with the Mercer County Clerk is Monday, July 28.
In her press release, Snyder described herself as a dedicated educator and community leader. With her experience as a former high school teacher, K-12 professional development coach, and instructional technology specialist, the release says that Snyder would bring a wealth of experience in education technology, standards and competency-based grading, strategic planning, and educational leadership.
Snyder is running for the School Board because she believes that every student deserves a world-class education. With her extensive background in education, she is determined to address the challenges facing the district and to improve student outcomes, according to the press statement.
