We Went To Nebraska: The Beef Crisis Will Shock You - More Perfect Union

Ground beef prices are up nearly 13%, but American cattle ranchers told us that they just took a $17 billion hit.

And every year, nearly 20,000 family farms disappear.

We investigated the corporate cartel who's profiting off the crisis in American beef production.

I've read stories of certain stores not only discounting but overlabeling to change "sell by" date. Sleazy & dangerous dutch777 17 hrs ago #3

My regional corporate Euro-owned supermarket was dead meat yesterdee

Have never seen so much discounted protein in one throw. 1/3 of a rib roast - $18.99 a pound, 4.87 pounds - $92.48! No buyers so they discounted it 50% to $46.24! It was so old it was turning dark. They were trying to sell packages of turkey wings, bundled about 6 to a pack. Not much meat on them birdies.

I doubt this is corporation approved but individual store managers trying to boost their sales. I keep saying, if we want to send a strong and fast message, stop buying stuff.

But I think we heard the problem we have at the end of the video, he thinks God has a plan for them. He'll keep voting for Republicans instead of those Godless Democrats, that's what I'm thinking.
