Dangerous Winter Conditions Cause 100-plus Vehicle Pileup In Michigan

I-196 near Hudsonville. Both east and westbound lanes are closed. Several injuries but no fatalities reported. It's even gnarly here in Lansing with lots of wind and blowing snow. I put out extra sunflower seeds for the birds (and squirrels, lol) this morning and they seem to appreciate it. There are 7 pairs of cardinals, many sparrows, a few chickadees, a couple of blue jays, and a couple of black squirrels feasting on the seeds.

Be careful out there, fellow Michiganders!

Now that’s a pileup!
There’s another big pileup today on US-131 south of Grand Rapids. More than 40 vehicles involved in that one.

More traffic jams at my bird feeders today, too. Haven’t counted numbers, but literally dozens of birds here. The only thing that will clear them out will be when the sharp shinned hawk makes its daily visit.

Very good job in the aftermath of cleaning up..

This is how government and community are supposed to work.

Not the MAGA trash we see from Trump.
