(1,257 posts)I was looking for a picture of Angela Lansbury riding her bicycle! I remember we were on vacation and it was the first day of summer. The sunrise light up the house we were renting. I looked at my alarm clock and it was like 4:45 in the morning! The place we stayed at had a view of Cadillac Mountain from the back patio. I would go back to Maine in a minute! Happy memories and friendly people!!!

(22,277 posts)I live in NY and down here we are still in early fall. The leaves are just starting to change. Fall lasts until about the first week of December, when the cold blasts of winter start. Of course, I'm talking about what I observe about the seasons here, not the technical start by the calendar.
What do you consider the start and end of fall in Maine?
