Police: 5 Bryant elementary students arrested over threats

BRYANT, Ark. – Police said Friday afternoon that five elementary school students in Bryant have been arrested and are facing charges after investigators said they threatened school employees and students.
Officials with the Bryant Police Department said the students were from Parkway Elementary School.
Authorities said police conducted a thorough investigation to determine the identity of the students, who all are between 10 and 11 years old.
Investigators said the students are facing charges including communicating a false alarm, terroristic threatening, harassing communications and threatening to commit acts of mass violence on school property.
