The definitive geology of the Waterpocket Fold...

...along Notom Rd in Capital Reef. The older red sandstone strata are tilted higher in the west and low toward the east, with later layers of white sedimentary deposits overlapping them. That's my understanding-- I'm not a geologist! 11 December 2924.
