(154,833 posts)The bright sunlight really played its part today.
The sculpture is designed to give whoever stands in the keyhole on a specific date the view of the setting sun due west. I hear that a crowd gathers on that date; I've never tried to be there at that time of day.
Some day, maybe I will.
