I like this 1973 track he uploaded a couple of years ago:



This one went so far under the radar it ended in the drink !
Written and recorded over 50 years ago and in truth, my youthful cheeky foray in having the audacity to try and arrange the track in the style of the great Paul Riser, the Tamla Motown genius who arranged almost all the classics on that label.
I threw the kitchen sink at it in terms of orchestration, and Decca, (but ultimately me), were paying me and studio and musicians costs for my education.... halcyon times learning my craft.
Raymie Duffy on drums and percussion, Pete Zorn bass, me on piano, elec piano, guitar... Ruby James, Irene Chanter and me, choir.
Recorded Decca 2 W Hampstead 1973 ... great drumming by Raymie ..
Seems nothing has really changed in the world ... even since back then....
