It grew on me, but was a little disappointed when the Pleasure Principle came out. So many of the early UK “new wave”(1977 to early/mid 80s) acts evolved so much between albums a year apart that it often took me a bit to be on board with the new, more polished, sound. Often, I appreciated their new directions, but most of them broke up or evolved beyond my tastes in the late 80s.
