A little while back Highplainsdem tipped me about this kid, Jake Vaadeland

This was in late March, and I said I'd check him out - Maybe do a post.

Since then I've been to Massachussets, The Phillipines and California for work, celebrated my 38th wedding anniversary , sold my house and moved.

Anyhow, I was just looking at my inbox and was reminded of that conversation - so I took a listen.

He is a solid artist that's pushing several of my buttons. Here, take a taste.

talented young man (just 22) and should have a long and successful career ahead of him.

You said you sold your house and moved. Apologies if I missed your posting about that earlier. Are you still in the same area so you can still easily see favorite local artists you've mentioned here in the past, or are you now enjoying a new music scene?

Still 6 miles from work. Still staring at corn wheat and soybeans everyday.
