(2,462 posts)1. There used to be a store called peace love and grill cheese near my dog store.
It was a hair salon.
We never went in as the dog was eager to get to the dog store and there was no grilled cheese smell to tempt him to explore it.

He did a lot to rescue rock music from what seemed at the time to be a soulless, enervating death spiral.

This is interesting....
Written by blues/jazz pianist Jimmie Cox in 1923, the song received a strong reception when he performed it. But Cox never got the chance to record it: he was shot dead on stage in Chicago in 1925.
