My oldest daughter loves the Chieftans and the Who. Don't know if she is aware of Sinead. She will see it as a gift.
Thanks highplainsdem.

There are just two members still alive from the group that was formed in Dublin in 1962 by the late Paddy Maloney. In their days they collaborated with the most expansive array of musicians from around the world. Besides Roger and Sinead they played and recorded with the likes of Van Morrison, The Rolling Stones, Mark Knopfler, , Sting( getting him to sing in Gaelic), Tom Jones, Pavarotti, Decemberists, Harlem Gospel Choir, Natalie Merchant, Jackson Browne, Corrs, Bonny Raitt, Nanci Griffith, Art Garfunkel, Joni Mitchell, Alan Stivell, Carolina Chocolate Drops, Ry Cooder, Elvis Costello, and so many more from around the world and musical genres. They are near the top of the list of “ambassadors of good will”the world will ever know, sharing and spreading the wealth and power of music. Thankfully enjoyed several of their concerts at venues in Ireland and once, on a visit to Cleveland in the U.S., saw them at Severance Hall, the home of the Cleveland Orchestra, later in the evening running into to Paddy and a few others at a small pub in the city. They were so down to earth, and he pulled out a tin whistle a gave us a few tunes. Thanks for posting them doing Baba O’Reilly!
