Need suggestions!
It's kind of hard to tell from this picture, but this is a cross stitch I made for my son and daughter-in-law. Each square is an individual picture, and then the pictures were joined and framed with strips of black fabric.
They would like to hang it in their baby-to-be's room, but my daughter-in-law isn't crazy about the black. I would be willing to take it apart and do it over, but IIRC, black was actually the best option. Any suggestions?
The pattern originally called for a single piece of special fabric, which I tried to order, but found to have been discontinued. I would have trashed the whole project, but love a challenge, so went with what seemed to be the next best option.
