Good morning my DU family,
I didn't realize that I had my fifth anniversary here on DU yesterday, I guess it's in that way it had a lot in common with my Golden Birthday, (also the fifth) lol.
I often talk about the little things being so important to our happiness and contentment in life. When it comes to Petunia, Cuddles and Shadow, their quirks are such individual treasures that I appreciate anew every day.
Whether it's the regular nap time rituals with Petunia where she wraps herself around the top of my head and purrs us both to sleep, or Cuddles coming to lay with me every morning for about ten minutes or so, along with his ways of telling me it's time for our walk, to his incredibly thick but stubby back feet/leg , so fuzzy I want to kiss it every time I see it (yes😍, I love toe beans).
When it comes to Shadow, lol, she talks my head off whenever we walk together from one end of the trailer to the other, if I don't leave the bathroom door slightly ajar, she'll just crawl in under it, and I swear, she always seems to lay down in the side showing off her heart.
I dedicate this mornings message to be a reminder, that we ultimately will find what we seek. I for one, want a treasure chest full of moments like these, not just from them, but from all of you, as our quirks are what endear us to one another and all of them are exquisite.
Please give us a day filled with exquisite moments, those moments that we treasure as gifts, to acknowledge them, and to experience them in fullness.
