Be sure to pack snacks, and clean underwear.

There will be rappelling involved. As far as diapers, that Depends. I'll take it under advisement.

As long as I can use the same equipment used by the one who filmed the video, and the helicopter pilot had several dozen (or, better, hundred) hours of experience flying in the area.

Note the cross at the top of the peak, from a previous adventurous soul.

Honestly, my goals will not be this spectacular, but still challenging. "Cave of the Virgin", "Picos Licos", "La Rayita", "Nido de los Aguiluchos",

Via Ferrata is off the list because the short climb is disabled, and the long climb is beyond my ablilities (3,000 foot vertical climb). And by vertical climb, I mean that literally. 3,000' vertical climb up a wall.

There's a lot of chaos in the country currently. Aren't you worried about getting to and from your destination?

I live near the border and I'm familiar with the areas that are insecure. I'm planning my route to avoid those places. Relatively speaking, the risk profile for the Huasteca climb is higher than the highway insecurity.

I'll post an update after the trip.
