In a car, by plane or on our two feet,
Let us warmly, each other to greet,
Especially on this day, sharing the same street.
Sharing moments and memories, oh so neat,
Of these our journeys, through ice and heat.
Time loses meaning, as more tales we mete,
Some in humility, others extolling a feat.
Some of us surely, time will only cheat,
So let's make these moments, extra sweet.

Indeed, time shared with somebody is never wasted. Some of us may not be able to get out and do so much, but so long as we can communicate we have the ability to be productive, whatever the means of communication may be.
