(5,123 posts)That's the furry yarn. Makes it look like fur fabric.

He lives in N CAROLINA so I made him a black bear.

(5,123 posts)Single crochet for the whole thing with a F hook. Wanted the stitches to be just the right size so he could get his little fingers into them to hang on to the bear better. He's just starting to walk so I'm figuring he'll be dragging the bear around with him.
I crocheted him a ball about 8" round with a g hook so he could get his fingers in and be able to throw it. His mom says it's his favorite toy and he carries it every where with him.

(4,896 posts)Do you have a pattern for it??
Figarosmom
(5,123 posts)Patterns. I draw it out and go from there. Some I do all in one piece and others in parts , like 2 arms. Two legs etc. The head and body is always in one piece. With this guy I had 2 sets of ears and about 6 sets of eyes before I was happy with it.

(17,963 posts)Yours is about twice the size as the one I had. He should find that bear a nice companion. Good job Grandma.
I had a blue dog I called Ralph

I love that yarn. I'm thinking of making a sweater coat out of it in maybe the white color.
