Getting very nervous......my geese in the Mississippi River in front of my house might be losing their nest......

The river is rising!!! And when I look through the field glasses at the area around their nest it’s not looking good. Dang it……

Now they’re just swimming around the area. May-be they were just “testing the waters” so to speak. Hope they didn’t have eggs.

But have lived here 25 years, and we’re good. Thanks for asking.

As I mentioned earlier, I REALLY couldn’t see their nest, they were just hanging out for the last couple of weeks around a certain spot. Well the river rose up within the last few days to cover all the area the geese were hanging out by. Now?? They’re just swimming around the same area. So not real sure they had started a nest, but now it’s all Mississippi River.
