So Walgreens will let me get 4 vaccines at the same time

I'm inclined to do it, because if I'm going to feel like shit, I might as well get it over with. So if I get them this afternoon, will I feel rotten tonight, or will I be okay until tomorrow? For some reason, the Walgreens and CVS in Santa Fe don't have the vaccines, so I was going to get them in Albuquerque today since I'm going to a concert there tonight anyway.

The vaccines are:

Flu
COVID-19
Pneumonia
Shingrix #1

But, got them in separate arms. I had next to no ill effects. The "flu arm" was the tiniest bit sensitive to the touch for several hours.
The other arm, nothing.

But the Shingrix made me feel “off” for the rest of the afternoon.

I have reacted to each one separately. Won't even do 2 together. I feel very weak,
sometimes have a vasovagal response and have to immediately lie down so I don't faint.
It passes usually by the next day, but I imagine additional shots would be multipliers so caution for me. 2weeks apart.
Good luck. YMMV.

That way I can know which vaccine affects me the most and what the symptoms are. Just my preference. Some people are more sensitive to the adjuvants than others.

THE SHINGRIX. Both 1 and 2 hit me like a ton of bricks about 12 hours afterwards and for the next 2 or 3 days. Maybe try getting them as late as you can before the concert? Enjoy the concert and good luck.

I'm volunteering at a film festival Monday and I want to feel my best. I'll get my vaccines afterwards. Tonight it's "Experience Hendrix"!

For me, I’d hold off on the Shingrix. If not, when you wake up in the morning and feel like shit, it probably won’t be from partying, staying up late and listening to good music.

Again, enjoy the concert.

I never felt bad after vaccines (other than a sore arm) until I got my Shingrix vaccine. The first one knocked me back a bit. The second one caused me to call out from work for a day.

…baby visits, infants are usually given 4 vaccines that protect against 6 different illnesses.

At an immunization inservice some years ago, a pediatrician who was well regarded in immunology said his standard answer when he was asked how far apart vaccines should be given was “ 1/2 an inch.”

I get my COVID vaccine separately because it has usually laid me low for about 48 hours - achy all over, feel chilled, and temp 101-102. Just had the most recent “recipe,” and temp maxed at 101, less achy, and didn’t feel like I was carved out of ice. Arm hardly sore at all. The pharmacy tech who gave the shot said the most recent version was supposed to have milder side effects, and that proved to be true for me.

Have you ever done 4 at the same time before?

Its not just an errand. You want to make sure you are actually raising immunity. Remember, Walgreens is a business, not a health care provider. Check with a doctor.
